Introducing Janeen Sonsie
Janeen’s life was turned upside down by a rapid cascade of redundancy, divorce and disability from a skiing accident that left her on crutches for several months. All of which served to initiate a deep and distressing midlife crisis at the tender age of 37. Despite the dark place Janeen found herself in, she was determined to come out the other side a stronger and wiser person. Digging deep, she found the resolve to get back on her feet and was soon well placed in a highly-paid, high powered job once again.
Eighteen months later, after another two rounds of redundancy, Janeen decided to take control of her financial destiny and set herself up as an independent consultant within the industry she had cut her teeth on. As any freelancer knows, business, like life, has its inherent ups and downs. Janeen realised that that the key to consistent success is learning to surf the waves and flow with the current. This approach to life makes the most of the opportunities presented.
Janeen’s personal and professional success has spurred her on to help others facing similar issues and transitions in life. This desire fuelled her passion for creating MojoCircle. Through this magazine, she is excited to bring her readers a well illustrated map designed to help them more easily navigate the challenge of transformation. Her desire is to offer a rich resource in MojoCircle that will ease the journey and compassionately inspire people to take-a-chance and make the most of the inevitable starts, stops, laughter and tears that life drops in their lap, especially in midlife.
Janeen’s motto is “Most can survive, but it takes focus, self-belief and persistence to really thrive.”
